A Small Story from our daily life.
Days ago, one of our artisans came to deliver a fabric we had custom-made for a client. It was a 33-count indigenous cotton Check Fabric, meant to have fine, delicate checks—almost the size of tiny sugar grains. But somewhere in the process, the checks turned out much larger—more like sugar cubes. A small detail, but a significant difference when it comes to design expectations.
The order was placed a month ago, and after weeks of effort and coordination, we received a fabric that, unfortunately, didn’t match the client’s original brief. Naturally, they were disappointed and had to pass on it. But they were also kind—they offered us the chance to recreate the fabric later, without pressure.
It did make us a little sad. Not just because of the mistake, but because we see the hard work behind it—the artisan’s time, energy, and dedication. When something handmade doesn’t go as planned, it doesn’t just affect timelines—it touches hearts. Still, we realise this is part of the process. Misunderstandings happen. And we learn and move forward.
Creating something truly handmade—no polyester, no machines, just hands and heart—is beautiful but not always perfect. That’s also what makes it special.

We work with Non- Traditional Weavers/Artisans who have never seen Handloom 3 years back to now : where they are weaving beautifully... Also coloring with Natural Resources like Indigo and Palash etc. They Weave Indigenous Variety Cotton which is grown in Akola District, Maharashtra by the farmers on an organic land. This is an Indian variety (Desi) cotton that is Rain-fed and short Staple. It is completely polyester free, only handspun and handwoven. We also work with traditional, skilled artisans who weave Fine muslin.
